Table games: Table games require a table for playing; the common games played on tables are table tennis (TT), snooker, billiards, pool etc.
Outdoor Games: Outdoor games as the name suggests are played in open playground, these games are tough as compared to the indoor games. These games can be played only with the help of complete sports kit or sports gear developed for them. Outdoor games require more people for playing. The common outdoor games or sports are:
Cricket: Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world after football, it is played between two teams each team having 11 players, 3 umpires and a match referee are also required for this game, two umpires are on field and the third one is TV umpire. Football: It is played between two teams and requires a ball for playing. This game is much popular in western countries and is played on large scale.
Hockey: It is the national sports of India; hockey is played with hockey sticks and a heavy cork ball.
